A well-known pro-Franco bullfighting critic of ABC newspaper made famous his insistence on reporting in his news reports about the bullfights in Sanfermines in the 80es that the "Peñas" in Pamplona used to sing in the sun-steps the following chorus: "¡Ariba! ¡Arriba! Que en Euskadi se prepara ¡PIM! ¡PAM! ¡PUM! la Revolución" (Stand up, a revolutin is brewing in the Basque Country). That insistence increased when observing that in the streets of the Southern Basque Country there used to be (and still are) puzzling often demonstrations where tens of thousands of people acclaimed ETA. An organization that has been practicing what it calls armed struggle and what the Spanish State calls terrorism for more than thirty years. And whose official name is Basque Revolutionary and Socialist Organization for National Liberation Euskadi ta Askatasuna.
